Redefine Success
For a long time, success seemed like something you could measure—more clients, more income, a fuller schedule, a bigger business. But as I’ve grown both personally and professionally, I’ve realized that success can mean something much deeper.
For me, success is creating a life and practice that feel aligned with who I am.
As a third-generation massage therapist, wellness isn’t simply a profession I chose. It is a legacy of knowledge, hands-on care, and connection that has been passed down through generations. There is something incredibly meaningful about carrying that tradition forward while also creating a path that is uniquely my own.
Third Generation Massage & Wellness was born from that intersection: honoring where I come from while thoughtfully building where I’m going.
I believe true wellness is personal. Every body has a different history, different needs, different challenges, and different goals. That is why I don’t believe massage should ever be a one-size-fits-all experience. My approach is rooted in listening, paying attention, adapting, and creating care with purpose.
As a wellness practitioner, success means being able to give my clients my very best—not simply fitting as many appointments as possible into a calendar. It means having the time and freedom to be present, to notice what a body is communicating, and to provide thoughtful, intentional care.
It means building relationships that extend beyond a single appointment.
It means helping someone move with less discomfort, breathe a little deeper, recover more fully, or simply take an hour to reconnect with themselves.
And it means continuing to learn.
I’m not interested in simply repeating what has always been done. I want to honor the wisdom that came before me while continuing to evolve, explore new techniques, expand my knowledge, and discover better ways to support the people I serve.
That is what carving my own path means to me.
I can carry a legacy without being confined by it. I can respect generations of experience while allowing my own experience to shape what comes next.
Success, to me, is no longer about proving how much I can accomplish.
It is about creating something meaningful.
Something sustainable.
Something rooted in integrity.
Something that allows me to care for others while also caring for myself.
And perhaps most importantly, success is knowing that the work I do today can become part of something that lasts—a tradition of intentional touch, thoughtful care, and lifelong wellness that continues into the next generation.
This is my path. My purpose. My interpretation of success.
And I’m grateful to be building it, one person, one session, and one meaningful connection at a time.
